Twenty years ago, I moved to Australia with the mission of strengthening scientific and technological collaborations between France and Australia, working with the Embassy of France in Canberra. Fast forward two decades, and I’m now celebrating a new chapter with Science Data Nexus by attending the FACET symposium in Melbourne—my first conference in this exciting role. To mark these milestones, I’m thrilled to unveil a dashboard that visualises the evolution of international collaborations between these two nations.
While this is a preview and still a work in progress, it reflects what Science Data Nexus stands for: community-driven partnerships, open data, and innovative solutions.
This project was made possible through a collaboration with the remarkable team at Cambia, leveraging the rich capabilities of Lens data. The Lens provides a robust platform for monitoring scientific and innovation activities, and this dashboard extends its functionality to meet specific analytical needs. It’s a tool designed to guide organisations from understanding scientific capacity to realising real-world impact.
Looking ahead, I’ll release an updated version in January with enhanced insights into collaboration outcomes and impact metrics.
If you’re interested in exploring how this dashboard can address your unique challenges or goals, feel free to get in touch. I’d love to discuss how we can harness its potential together.
